Who Is Responsible for Paying the Fine?
The Renter is responsible for paying all traffic fines incurred during the rental period.
This applies to:
fines issued directly by traffic police officers;
violations automatically detected by speed cameras and other traffic enforcement cameras.
If the Fine Is Issued by a Traffic Police Officer
If a traffic police officer issues a citation during your rental, you are responsible for paying the fine within the deadline established by applicable law.
If the Violation Is Recorded by an Automatic Camera
Traffic camera violations are initially issued to the registered owner of the vehicle.
Once we receive the official notice, we verify the rental period, identify the Renter responsible for the vehicle at the time of the violation, and send a notification containing:
details of the traffic violation;
the amount due;
payment instructions.
Payment Deadlines
We recommend paying the fine immediately after receiving our notification to avoid late payment penalties or other legal consequences.
If the law provides a discounted payment period, you may take advantage of the discount only within the legally prescribed timeframe.
Please note that in some cases the discounted payment period may expire before the vehicle owner receives the official notice (for example, due to administrative processing times). In such situations, the discount may no longer be available.
How to Confirm Payment
After paying the fine, please send a copy of your payment receipt or confirmation to: info@autopilotrent.ru
This allows us to promptly verify payment and update your rental records.
